ALPS – ITALY An eco-friendly bivouac for glamping
Its name is “Immerso”, immersed, and it is a ready-made module designed to be at one with nature, starting from its building modalities. It is the work by two young and emerging architects from Turin, Fabio Vignolo and Francesca Turnaturi.
It is a temporary and contemporary shelter, a usual and surprising way to live in nature. An innovative, nomadic and design prefabricated model which can be easily assembled like a maxi Meccano. But, above all, it boasts the same environmental impact as a tent.
It is a new way to “welcome” in line with the international trend of glamping (glamour camping): close contact with nature and close attention for design and building modalities, which consider sustainability and respect for nature as fundamental objectives for the project.
The frame is fully manufactured using panels of phenolic multi-layered birch, boltless (hardware is used for anchoring the transparent covering to the wooden part, only). The special feature of “Immerso” is exactly its extremely easy assembly, even by operators who are not expert and without using electrically supplied tools. A winning design choice thanks to which it is easy to transport the module which can easily adapt to different uses and environments.
